Robot Entertainment have announced the availability the Hero Academy 1.2.2 update which is going live on the Apple servers in just a couple of hours. The list of changes can be found below. The update is not mandatory so you can still continue to play with the older version if you wish. However updating to the latest version is strongly recommended to take advantage of the latest stability and performance improvements.

    Version 1.2.2 changes:

    • Initial game load is faster
    • Fix to decrease “out of memory” crashes on iPad and iPod Touches
    • Fixed Undo actions bug that awarded certain achievements incorrectly
    • Fixed Spike armor increasing health when health was below 100.
    • Fixed Spike armor to no longer affect nearby units when hit by area-of-effect attacks
    • Fixed Wraith puppet scaling when attacking other units

If you ever doubted Kenny’s gaming credentials you really should think again. If achieving some of the highest Orcs Must Die combos wasn’t enough you should really check out Kenny’s absolutely pure awesome video game and console collection. The Game Chasers hit a gold mine when they visited the residence of our own Kenny Newell where they discovered some of the most classic and pristine condition games and consoles including a boxed Channel F, the first every programmable ROM cartridge based game console.

Check out the below video of Kenny’s collection on The Game Chasers from about 9 minutes in. Being an ultimate Robot Fan he of course sports the official Robot Entertainment cap, the Little R Cap!

So yeah, you may have been scratching your head as to why there has been no Monday Morning Meeting (MMM) blog this week from Robot Entertainment. Well, they say good things come to those who wait and it looks like we might be getting our taste of a good thing when this belated MMM finally hits. Robot have confirmed via Twitter that the forthcoming blog post will feature a 13 minute video.

Sounds exciting – but no word on what the video might be.. it could be Orcs Must Die 2, Hero Academy or something completely different. I would suggest keeping a sharp look out for the next blog post from Robot Entertainment to come online this week. It’s sure to be a good one!
