okay my apologies here I am very slow but there is nowwhere for me to login, when I click on matchmaking all there is on the page is request membership.. where do I go to sign into the league?

Does your rating change differ depending on how you win/lose (ie TKO/resign/CK)?

@Jewbacca2284 – nope, doesnt matter. Only your rating differential meaningfully impacts the points. There is some *very* small impact of who went first, intended to compensate for the small advantage of going first which exists even though we limit player one to only 3 actions on the first turn.

Hi there, I tried to join three days ago, but haven’t heard back. Other forum posts suggest that the administrator goal is a 24-hour turnaround. Have I been missed in the Friday shuffle or should I resubmit a request? Would like to find better competition than random matches and I heard that this league is where’s it at. Thx

@Duneavatar: We arent always as good about the 24 hour thing on the weekends. I show all current requests having been addressed. Let me know if you have any problems and we’ll address asap.

And yeah, you’ll have no problem finding stronger competition. If you want to jump right in to an uphill battle, look for someone over 1350+ and you’ll quickly see if your going to be able to swim with the sharks or will need a little more work first.

Hey All! New to the forum and I was reading over the rules – some of the rules seem…difficult to enforce. No more than 5 games at once, can’t submit a win unless all games have had a turn taken, etc. I’m assuming this is all on the “honor” system? Or is there a way to report games in progress that I missed and that’s how you monitor?

I just won my first league game and I can’t figure out how to report it. I clicked on “post match results” but it just gives me a screen to log in even though it says that I’m logged in. I have no idea what to do.

1 in 20 folks or so have a cookie problem with certain browsers. Can you try a different browser? If that fails, PM me or post in the contact an admin thread in the League forums. There is a known solution, I just need to dig it out for you, and will do that if another browser doesnt work (it generally does). These are the general forums for the website, which we really dont use.

@ArtNJ. Sorry I’m so late on this, this week has been insane for me. Anyway my handle is “last-wailord.” I tried switching browser and neither firefox nor internet explorer seemed to do the trick.

@last-wailord – if its the common cookie issue, a one time direct visit by you to the League’s actual database site, rather than this site which gets data from the database site, should fix you up. Specifically,on each device that you want to access the league database, pay a direct visit to the following url:
http://s410996405.websitehome.co.uk/HALeague/default.aspx
Login there once, and you should be able to access the league pages from RE Fans site again.

I have very little understand of why this would actually work, just repeating something z3phyr once said. If it doesnt work for you we’ll have to ask him for help.

nothing works for me i cannot login the post results link anywhere with any browser, the link you just provided didn’t work either, it says my username/password is invalid even though it’s not

yea even when I click the link, I’m having the same issue as Anomaly in both firefox and ie.
